Who we are

This site, pipetail.cloud, is operated by pipetail, based in Prague, Czech Republic. We are the controller for the personal data described below. If you have any questions about this notice or want to exercise your rights, email us at [email protected].

What we collect, why & our lawful basis

When you request access through the form on this site, we collect:

• Your email address — so we can reply to your request and follow up about a partnership.
• Your IP address — recorded with the submission to help us prevent abuse and spam.
• Campaign parameters (UTM and referrer information from the link you arrived through) — so we understand which channel brought you here.

We rely on these lawful bases under the GDPR for each purpose:

• Responding to your request and following up — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in answering enquiries and pursuing a business relationship you initiated, and steps taken at your request before any agreement (Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Preventing abuse and spam — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in keeping the form and our infrastructure secure.
• Advertising measurement and retargeting via the LinkedIn Insight Tag — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time using the controls described under “Cookies” below.

Who processes your data

We rely on a small number of third parties to run this site:

• Cloudflare — hosts this site and stores form submissions (your email, IP address, and campaign parameters) in a Cloudflare database on Cloudflare's infrastructure.
• Slack — receives an internal notification so our team sees your request and can respond.
• LinkedIn — while LinkedIn advertising is enabled on this site, the LinkedIn Insight Tag sends data to LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ireland for visitors in the EEA) for ad measurement and retargeting.

International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Cloudflare, Slack, and LinkedIn may transfer your data to the US. Where they do, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards under the GDPR — the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the providers' certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Cookies

This site does not use cookies for its core content. While LinkedIn advertising is enabled on this site, we load the LinkedIn Insight Tag, which sets LinkedIn cookies in your browser (such as li_sugr, bcookie, lidc, and UserMatchHistory) and sends data to LinkedIn so we can measure conversions and show ads to relevant audiences.

You can opt out of this tracking in two ways:

• Adjust the advertising preferences in your LinkedIn account settings (Settings & Privacy → Advertising data).
• Block or delete cookies using your browser's privacy controls.

How long we keep it

We keep your form submission while we evaluate and follow up on your request. We do not keep it longer than we need it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing [email protected]. The LinkedIn Insight Tag cookies expire on LinkedIn's own schedule (up to two years), and you can clear them at any time using the controls above.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA, the GDPR gives you the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format and have it transferred to another controller where that applies. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting processing carried out before you withdrew. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected] and we will respond.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the Czech Republic this is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.cz); if you are elsewhere in the EEA, you can contact your local authority.
