Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 July 2026

Who we are

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of pipetail.cloud (the “Service”), operated by pipetail, based in Prague, Czech Republic (“pipetail”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Questions about these Terms can be sent to [email protected].

The Service

pipetail.cloud is a closed cloud security portal. It lets you connect an AWS account, run compliance scans, and review findings across posture, cost, security, alerts, inventory, and code. There is no public self-serve signup: access requires either an email address on an approved domain or an invitation to an organization.

Accounts & access

You sign in to the Service with a Google account. Signing in requires an approved email domain or a valid invitation, and an invitation is what adds you to an organization. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. When you connect an AWS account, you control the access you grant us, and you can revoke it at any time from within your own AWS account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to access an AWS account, organization, or data you are not authorized to access;
  • Attempt to disrupt, probe, or reverse engineer the Service beyond normal, intended use;
  • Use the Service to violate any applicable law or the rights of others.

Third parties

The Service relies on third-party providers to operate, including AWS (to read the account data you connect), Cloudflare (hosting), and Slack (notifications). How we use these providers, and how we handle personal data more generally, is described in our Privacy & Cookie Notice.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, belongs to pipetail or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any rights to pipetail's name, logo, or other branding.

Availability & changes to the Service

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including while it is under active development.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, pipetail is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, including if we believe these Terms have been violated. You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting your AWS account and no longer signing in.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
